A Term for "No Moving Parts"

Is there a term in the English language that means "no moving parts"? Well there should be. The first thing that pops into my head is "solid state", but that is not accurate.

Does anybody know of such a term? How about "static state"?

MJR's Gravatar I would offer: stationary, rigid or fixed into the fray of possible terms. Also simply "motionless" seems to work well.

Jeffry Houser's Gravatar I was thinking inflexible

But, I think motionless nails it best.

Maybe we should call it NMP because we all need a TLA
